School Page is an awesome site -- it serves as a launchpad for many
interesting topics, all of which relate directly to education. One of the
coolest features of this site is that it has an interactive feature where you
can ask an expert about anything you'd like, depending on the topic you select.

This
is a great resource developed by my English Methods 4144 class at
University. It contains writings, teachable moments, unit plans, lesson
plans, etc. We hope you like it!
Another
great site that offers an entire unit plan called 30 Days of Poetry. It is
pretty useful, especially for those of you who like to teach poetry as a unit as
well as globally.
Stemnet's
Grassroots Program is a wonderful initiative that brings communications
technology directly into every willing classroom.
Anyone
stuck teaching a course in Technology like Microcomputers 1100 and are not sure
how to go about it? This site offers examples of lessons that might come
in very handy. They are interactive and quite comprehensive.
The
Media Awareness Network is an incredible site that offers lesson and unit plans,
teachable moments and ideas, etc. for every teacher who is interested in media
education. It is pretty big but it is very very good -- take some time and
look around... you won't be sorry!
